The BIC India-EU Cooperation Workshop was held on 16th December 2011 during E-India 2011 (held in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, 14-16th December 2011) to capitalize on the many researchers that would be in attendance at India’s largest ICT event. In order to keep within the thematic coverage of the eIndia event, the full title of the BIC workshop was Building International Cooperation Workshop: Collaborative Trustworthy ICT research and innovation between India and the European Union; Opportunities, challenges and success stories. The well attended BIC workshop contained a panel session comprised of a mix of presentations and discussions between EU and India researchers. The panel session was followed with a panel of questions and answers from the audience, which included government, industry, academic and research participants.
