The European Commission would like the trust and security community to actively participate on the online consultation on the European Strategy for Internet Security at:
http://daa.ec.europa.eu/content/special/discussion-european-strategy-internet-security.
The online activities are particularly focused on nine topics:
1. Convergent media platforms
2. High-speed connections
3. E-commerce
4. Social media
5. Data and content
6. Cloud
7. Security
8. Innovation and entrepreneurs
9. Jobs and skills
To follow the discussions, just click on the relevant workshop. To take part in the discussion, choose a topic/workshop and login.
The aim is to collectively identify relevant evidence, inspiring examples and insights for policy action relevant to the Digital Agenda, focusing on the 9 key topics listed above. These discussions will feed into the Digital Agenda Assembly on 21 and 22 June in Brussels and the mid-term review of the Digital Agenda to be published later in the year.
From the people participating in the online discussion, there will be selected up to 5 persons from each topic and invite them to the Assembly, i.e. the persons making the most valuable contributions. For every intervention you can click on the “interesting!” button (similar to the “like” in Facebook). Participants are asked to signal any interesting intervention by clicking on the button.
So, have your say in the debates going on in each group; bring evidence and inspiring examples; and signal which interventions are most valuable.
